So, Mistress goes away for the night on Thursday, came home on Friday and we didn't really spend a whole lot of time together. Then yesterday, after keeping me up almost all night she left almost as soon as she got up, and she was gone almost all day!
And she wonders why I meow so much?
She says "Sandy? What's whrong? You have food, you might need more water *so she refreshes my water, that was nice, gave me more food, that was really nice * What are you meowing about?"
Um, I don't know, maybe I just want your attention? Duh!
Then she has the nerve to imitate me!
I say a nice little meezer Meow
She says a cranky-old-human-sounding "Mrow!"
That's not how I sound! I know how I sound, and I may sound kinda old and meezer-like, and I don't sound cute and squeaky like dearly-departed Squeakers, but I do not sound like a cranky old human!
*sigh* But she says I do.
And maybe, just maybe, I wanted to spend some time with her!
Although, I wouldn't admit it to her and I'm not exactly why I wanted to spend time with her now anyway. ..
Okay! Maybe I am turning into the "Crotchety Old Cat" she calls me! but I am going to go fighting!
I have food, I have water, my box has just been cleaned, I've recently spent some time with Mistress, but I'm gonna keep sounding cranky anyway, not much, you see. Not enough to bother her, just enough to make her think she needs to do something for me or to me or with me! *evil laugh*
Thank you Squeakers, for all these wonderful tricks you gave me to pull on our human!
Good Night Beloved

Excellent point, Sandy. Now if only humans could get it...
